Sapphire Blue Consulting (SBC) offers specialized Indigenous relations expertise to organizations, encompassing policy enhancement, procurement practices, training, and a comprehensive combination of these services. These services culminate in the development and implementation of Indigenous Participation Plans that are favourable, well-received, and contribute to improved performance in procurement processes while fostering positive relationships with Indigenous Communities.

SBC collaborates with Indigenous communities to build capacity, provide support, and impart expertise in various domains. With over a decade of experience in the Provincial government, SBC has held diverse regulatory, enforcement, and policy-based roles. Additionally, several years within the industry have provided SBC with a unique blended approach and perspective that facilitates a deeper understanding of the underlying reasons. SBC has actively participated in the development of several agreements between industry and Indigenous Communities, either directly as part of negotiation teams or indirectly as external support, facilitator, and relationship builder.

SBC is selective in client selection, focusing on organizations that are committed to driving change, acquiring knowledge, and fostering development.

The Name:

Our name comes from the 1962 Chrysler paint code catalogue, Sapphire Blue Polymetallic.  This is the colour of Rob’s first car, a project he began to restore at 15 years old, and began to drive and show it once he was legally able to drive.
